Thanks to all Apple employees for this wonderful evening with you and, of course, the great celebration. Milan, you are beautiful! Thanks to Angela Ahrendts (former Burberry CEO and now Apple Board Member for Retail and Online Store) and Stefan Behling (Senior Executive Partner Foster + Partners (Head of Design) and also the architect of Apple Piazza Liberty and many other iconic Apple Stores and buildings around the world) for the brilliant time in Milan and the new opportunities in my life.

I had a fantastic time in Milan. My hotel was just 20m away from the Apple Store, and I had a great view of the famous cathedral. Here are some interesting insights about Apple Piazza Liberty: the store opened its doors on the 26th of July 2018. Apple celebrated the opening day with a live musical performance in the amphitheater-styled lounge area. The mirror effect on the back of the stairs creates an amazing light illusion in the dark, and they look like floating stairs because they are just fixed on one side of the stone. The primary entrance is a glass rectangle that repels the water of both fountains. This creates a lovely waterfall-effect when you enter the store. I heard that the trees for the Forum are from Cupertino (USA), which grew up in Germany. Here is a fun fact about the stone material: the stone of the Apple Store on the walls and the floor comes from Italy. However, it is the same type of stone, but the rock is cut vertically on the wall and horizontally. This creates a difference in stone tones from dark to light. I hope you enjoyed my quick article about Apple Piazza Liberty. Indeed, I can fill more than one hundred pages about this trip, but I think you could get an overview of the essential points. Enjoy the gallery with many photos of Apple Piazza del Liberty and some vacation photos like my visit to Triennale di Milano which is a design and art museum in the Parco Sempione (a large city park) in Milan.
